Gainful Employment (GE) Program Disclosures A gainful employment (GE) program is defined by the U.S. Department of Education as any program identified by a Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code as established by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); or one identified by an Occupational Network O*Net-SOC code as established by the U. S. Department of Labor; or one determined as such by the Secretary of Education in consultation with the Secretary of Labor. For WCC, GE programs are programs that train students for specific employment in recognized career fields. All career & technical and health programs at WCC are GE programs. Disclosure information regarding GE programs may be found on individual program Web sites listed under the Career & Technical and Health programs link on this Web page.
